Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald celebrated the West Coast Super Bowl win with a big ticket purchase in the equestrian-friendly L.A. community Hidden Hills. Donald’s new residence came at a cost of $17.1 million; the estate’s accommodations include eight bedrooms and nine baths across 11,850 sq. ft. of interiors.
Apparently a complete rebuild, the home’s present living style begins with a front walk flanked by olive trees leading to an entryway of steel-framed glass panes that incorporates double front doors. The home’s foyer sets a meditative tone by way of a lack of effusion and matte-finished, natural wide-plank hardwood floors.
Various step-down spaces arranged around the stepping-off point include a sunken living room with a fireplace, and a formal dining room with a plane of marble inset into one wall for décor. The home’s kitchen is as reticent, with only the stone of the waterfall island and stove backsplash, and the trio of pendant fixtures, for decoration; it transitions to a rotunda dayroom inset with steel-framed glass, including two sets of French doors for patio access.
Special touches in this house: a large downstairs entertainment space with a wet bar and a fireplace, and its companion sitting room, which features another fireplace, as well as a spa, a theater, and an office. The 1.77 acres of land the estate calls home include a guest house with two bedrooms, a sports court, a pool with waterfall, and a BBQ spot.
Donald’s recent transactions also include the sale of his Calabasas home for $6.3 million.
