Soft-Tex wins for packaging design

Waterford, N.Y. – Soft-Tex has been awarded in an annual juried competition that featured more than 10,000 applicants.

The sleep solutions company was honored by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) as part of the 2020 American Graphic Design Awards for the new innovative packaging for its SensorPedic Epic Chill memory foam pillow, which features Soft-Tex’s proprietary Reactex cooling technology.

Soft-Tex graphic design manager Wendi Hauck, created the winning design and director of marketing operations Katherine Burger, was responsible for production.

“It’s an honor that Soft-Tex was chosen to receive this recognition. The eye-catching ice cube and glacier design elements capture the essence of the best-in-class, Reactex cooling technology,” said Burger.

On creating the design, Hauck added, “We were proud of the look as we feel it creates an instant connection to consumers and is the ideal balance to convey cooling and technology.”

Soft-Tex chief sales & marketing officer Chris Marsh, added, “This award is a testament to the cutting-edge, innovative merchandising solutions we provide to our retail partners on a daily basis in addition to best-in-class products.”

The SensorPedic Epic Chill collection is currently available at JCPenney and Dillard’s.
