CHARLOTTE, NC — Caesarstone U.S., the Charlotte, NC-based manufacturer of engineered-stone countertops, has acquired Omicron Granite & Tile, a major supplier of quartz and stone surfaces, the companies announced.
The acquisition, whose terms were not disclosed, will dramatically increase Caesarstone’s distribution network and provide 17 new North American locations from which Caesarstone will operate and distribute its products, the company said.
Based in Pompano Beach, FL, Omicron Granite & Tile, has owned and operated 17 showrooms and indoor warehouses across the Southeast and Ohio Valley regions of the U.S. Eleven of the locations are in Florida, while others are in Detroit, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, OH and Mobile, AL, according to the company.
