WHILE many Britons have been going crazy for air fryers over the past few months as a kitchen must-have for cooking, it now appears that lots of social media users are discovering new ingenious ways to use the handy appliance.
Air fryers have become a kitchen must-have in the past year, after it emerged they are much more energy efficient and less costly to run than an oven.
But now, others are using their kitchen appliance to get creative, with one woman sharing how she makes Christmas decorations using hers.
Cami, from Brooklyn, who posts on TikTok under the username @CambyDesign, has shared a video showing how she uses sage leaves to create a Christmas decoration.
Posting her clip on the app, Cami wrote: ‘Will get better at the dried sage situation but makes for a fun decor piece!’
In the video, we see Cami place the sage leaves into her air fryer, before setting it to the dehydrate function.
She explained that she had been telling ‘everyone to use the dehydrate function on the air fryer for all sorts of things.’
After drying out the sage leaves, she removed the pieces from the air fryer, before using a piece of string to bind them together.
Once tied together, Cami then attached a dried piece of fruit, which can also be dried out using an air fryer.
Cami’s Christmas decoration looks fabulous and we then see her place it down on her table, ready to leave her family and friends very impressed.
Cami’s video has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up a whopping 1.6million views.
It has 88.4k likes, 656 comments and 2,304 shares.
