At Home with the Cunningham Family
Julia’s Cunningham’s love for anything and everything home related is seen throughout her career as a realtor as well as the beautiful designed interior and exterior of own her home. Julia and her husband Todd have designed and built several homes. Five years ago they started their next and biggest project. It was very different from their previous builds. The lot was not your traditional rectangular piece of property. It was more in a triangle shape which made the design process very challenging. Through the use of draftsman Emil Henning and a bunch of creative ideas by the Cunninghams, two years later their dream home was built and their family of four moved in.The location of their home is something most people could only dream off. “The proximity of downtown is priceless for us,” Julia says. They love being able to walk Downtown but still within earshot of all the noises from the animals from the Greenville Zoo. Most people listen to their favorite playlist on their back porch, not the Cunningham Family. They get to enjoy roars from the lions paired with chatter from the monkeys. With Julia being a huge New York City lover being able to walk to downtown was a priority. A way for her to get a little bit of her NYC fix, without being in the big city.
Working with local interior designers, Julia was able to mix her fabulous art, NYC pieces, and grandmother’s heirlooms to style her home so that everything flows together and makes for a well designed interior.
Even though their lot wasn’t the perfect shape the Cunninghams turned it into the perfect place to raise their beautiful daughters in and have many memories in their home for years to come.
