Just in time for spring, the 2021 Virtual CNY Home & Garden Show brings together a wide variety of local home improvement specialists right to your home, and will be open through September.
The online Home and Garden Show opened April 18 with the same quality of vendors traditionally found at its in-person events. A Grand Opening week features several giveaways, said Mary Thompson, executive director of the HBR of CNY. The event will remain open through Sept. 25.
“We will have daily prize drawings during the week of April 18 through the 24, culminating on Sunday, April 25, with a $1,000 giveaway in cash, brought to you by Murtaugh Restorations,” said Thompson.
The virtual show gives attendees the unique perspective of researching home improvement specialists right from their own home. Imagine new countertops with a glance from your computer screen into your kitchen or a new bay window while looking from your screen to your living room.
“We wish we could be together in person doing the Home & Garden Show,” said Thompson. “But since we can’t, we are bringing you the next best thing. Our virtual show allows you to search local home improvement companies in a number of different ways.”
Attendees can bring their ideas and questions to the exhibitors with the added advantage of being in the space they want to change. With checklist in hand, they can visit local home improvement specialists through a virtual floor plan, learn about their services, request a quote, view their work and get contact information.
“People have spent a lot of time in their homes in the last year and the residential construction industry is very busy repairing, remodeling, building and maintaining Central New York’s housing stock,” Thompson said. “So now is the time to plan what you want done and talk to different companies, because it may take some time before a professional can do your job.
