2021 Parade of Homes is July 10-18

By Michael Gruber, President, Building Industry Association of Stark & East Central Ohio

The 57th edition of the Parade of Homes takes place July 10–18 in Massillon at the beautiful Augusta Lakes development. This year’s show features five brand new homes – all showing off the latest in new home interior design, floor plans, technology, green building and landscaping. These fully decorated homes are priced to start at $450,000 and feature a variety of architectural styles. This is a show that will appeal to all generations of consumers – from first-time home buyers to empty nesters and especially those interested in building a custom home.

I thought it would be a good idea to explain the event itself, so I’ll begin this week by breaking down the various aspects of the Parade that have made it such a popular event. In the coming weeks, I’ll dedicate an article to each home in the Parade.

What does the Parade offer to you as an attendee?

Award-winning home builders – This year’s Parade has five homes from four different builders: Hostetler Family Homes, Blythe Construction (2), Smith Homes, and Vega Construction. These companies are all long-time members of our Association and have received numerous awards over the years, including The People’s Choice Award, House of the Year, and Builder of the Year. You will see their expertise and craftsmanship in every aspect of these artfully constructed homes.
